Gerald Lowe founded Homescapes over 30 years ago after working as a plumbing and heating contractor. Gerald was doing work for a customer who asked if he could install a central vacuum system in her home. He researched the product, found a supplier, and installed it. Gerald Lowe founded Homescapes over 30 years ago after working as a plumbing and heating contractor. Gerald was doing work for a customer who asked if he could install a central vacuum system in her home. He researched the product, found a supplier, and installed it. The customer was so thrilled with the system that Gerald decided to add central vacuum installation and service to his offerings and added home theater systems, surround sound, TV wiring, and related services as demand increased.
Gerald’s son, Dean, joined his father in 1982, eventually taking over the operation of Homescapes. The Lowe family has a long history of expertise and innovation in the Inland Northwest in the business of built-in systems for the home.
